Yesterday I read a piece of news on the Internet about careless smoking killed couple . Here is the general content of the news .
A Dauphin County couple married more than 50 years died in a fire Monday morning that investigators said was caused by careless smoking at their Conewago Township home.
The couples were both on oxygen after years of smoking. And the husband also suffered from multiple sclerosis and needed a wheelchair to get around. Police said he and his wife had little chance of escaping the fire.
The investigation by the fire marshal determined the fire originated in the bed of the victims and that the cause of the fire was due to careless smoking.
Flames tore through the home. By mid morning much of the roof had caved in on the ranch-style home.
Firefighters said when they arrived around 5:45 a.m., flames and smoke poured from the home. The Hershey Volunteer Fire Department chief went inside to search but couldn't see through the smoke.
On hearing this news , I felt sorry and plaintive . Since I am the chairman of the non-smoking club in our community organization , I usually went out with my members to hold campaigns to appeal to people not to smoke in the past . We each has a membership card to show we are teammates . We print our club name and first name on the cards , which are hung by a beautifully designed lanyards . We print words such as “no smoking ”  or “a healthy life without smoke ” on the lanyards .
And we also provide these lanyards as suvenirs for non-somkers and it works . Now in our community , all of us are non-smokers and become healthier than before .
After this tragic news happen , I decided to lead my members to have an activity telling people the danger of smoking . I hope that more and more people will get away with cigarretes and become healthier .

I have always wondered about smokers who were on oxygen... There are some crazy people out there, that is for sure.

Probably had emphysema. Usually happens with smokers, ex smokers. I may even get it as I'm an ex smoker.
Oxygen and flames, definately not good.

Sad thing that happened though.
